The sound of the system vibration when the car is driving is collectively referred to as the sound of the car, and these sounds can be divided into normal sounds and abnormal sounds. Abnormal sounds are phenomena, and faults are the essence. This article analyzes the abnormal noise of the release bearing during the driving of a certain vehicle, summarizes the causes and troubleshooting methods of the release bearing, and takes effective preventive measures, which is particularly important to improve the service life and reliability of the car release bearing.
1. The amount of grease applied to the ball socket of the separation bearing support is insufficient
In the investigation of the market fault information, it was found that there was a case where the clutch would make a "squeaky" abnormal sound. The investigation found that there was a lack of grease at the ball socket of the separation fork, which caused dry friction between the support ball and the fork, resulting in abnormal noise. The non-standard application of grease in the manufacturing process leads to poor lubrication at the ball head and abnormal noise.
2. Insufficient pre-tightening force of the release bearing
Compared with the preload force of the car release bearing of other models, it is found that the preload force of the release bearing of each model is larger, and the preload force of this model is the smallest. At the same time, it is found that some vehicles in the market have reduced or eliminated the fault when the clutch pedal is lightly stepped on. Therefore, it is suspected that some vehicles may have too small preload on the contact end face of the release bearing at idle due to the consistency or matching of various components, resulting in the separation of the clutch pressure plate and the finger end. The relative slippage of the release bearing produces scraping and abnormal noise. After a long time, the clutch release bearing is prone to wear or grooves, which will aggravate the failure of the release bearing. After comparison and investigation, it is found that the preload force design of the existing model release bearing is too small and needs to be improved.

1. The amount of grease applied to the ball socket of the separation bearing support is insufficient
Quantitative and fixed-point smearing shall be adopted for the lubricating parts of the ball head support, and the requirements for grease smearing shall be standardized, and all inspections shall be carried out. 2. Insufficient pre-tightening force of the release bearing
Referring to other models, increase the preload force of the hydraulic clutch release bearing to about 60N by increasing the preload force of the clutch pump in the installed state. In the case of idling, if the abnormal idle noise disappears after pressing the separation fork, replace the changed clutch cylinder.
